Alison's Birthday Party

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketAlison turned one year old on August 17th of this year. In her honor we had a "Princess Party" in our backyard. Alison was surrounded by her parent's, mom-mom, aunts/uncles, cousins and countless friends (little ones and big ones!). Despite the fact that it was pouring rain for much of the afternoon, it was a beautiful day! Luckily we had a nice BIG tent pitched in the backyard (donated by Roxbury High School). It took her 8 loving hours to construct this vision, and my goodness... it tasted sooooo yummy!

Alison enjoyed the cake as well!

Here is a picture of my side of the family w/ the little birthday girl!

The Summer.. in a nut shell

So it is fall, and we are moving closer and closer to winter (I shutter at that thought). Since I haven't been good, even remotely good, w/ Alison's web page (i.e. THIS, I have no clue how to make a 'real' web page) I'll post just a few pictures from this past summer. It was a nice summer filled w/ great milestones. The most important milestone was that Alison was able to come out of her brace in late July! We have one more visit to the orthopedist in late November for final clearance, but so far/so good. I think she'll have to continue to see the orthopedist for a yearly visit. We went to Long Beach Island for a week of fun and sun (just one day of rain!). Alison loved playing in the sand and having the ocean waves hit her legs and feet. This was her first summer vacation w/ Daddy's side of the family. She may not remember this particular trip, but I'm sure she will remember many trips yet to come!

Pitiful, just pitiful...

Why Do I bother saying that I am going to do something (like this blog) and never do it? Hmmm... Stefanie and Melanie are always so good with their blogs that I decided I'm going to "try" to do better! It's a nice easy way for friends to keep up with things without always having to send a zillion pictures out. Who am I kidding though? I will probably always continue to send them anyway!

For right now I am going to go to bed, BUT perhaps tomorrow I'll write a real post and attach some real pictures! There are slim-to-non chances that anyone is going to read this by then anyway!

Good Night.
